This September, the entire ACHA staff (including our remote employees!) convened in Philadelphia for our annual staff retreat and teambuilding activity. We had very productive conversations focusing on the organization's goals and the role each staff member plays in achieving them. We left, as always, excited and looking forward to serving the ACHA community for another year!
UCLA doctors use 3-D printed model to guide tricky heart valve replacement.
The 3-D model, which was created using a CT scan of a patient's heart, was made of a silicon-like material with properties similar to tissues and other structures in the heart.
